2) The DataLyzer® Spectrum system is compatible with a wide variety of existing IT infrastructure

» Versions are available for the following Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access (migrating between versions in easily done using a convert utility supplied.)
» Networks compatibility includes: NT and Novell.
» Data acquisition from RS-232, USB, ASCII and Excel files.
» File structure optimization makes DataLyzer® an ideal choice for automated data collection from PLCs and robotic applications. DataLyzer® file structure is fully indexed for high volume data collection (2+ Gigabyte database size). Hundreds of thousands of subgroups can be collected without significantly slowing down the system.
» Supported Database connections include: ODBC by default, OLEDB optional.
» Supported data authentication includes: NT Authentication by default, SQL Authentication optional.
» No database encryption is used (SQL and Oracle) so data is available to other applications.
» SMTP Server and Exchange Server systems can be used for urgent email alerts based on conditions automatically detected in the data.
» DLL and Active-X control versions of DataLyzer® are available allowing third-party hardware and software suppliers to implement this superior SPC analysis into their own applications.
» Loopback communication (feedback/control) for making automatic machine adjustments is available separately under premium registration.

3) Installation is easy

» Installation CD has a simple and robust user interface.
» The DataLyzer® Spectrum system installs in minutes using your client access licenses (cals are not necessary for MS Access systems).
» SQL Scripts are provided to simplify the process.
» DataLyzer® Spectrum licenses are perpetual and do not expire after one year.

4) Stabile applications save time and money

Version to version upgrades of DataLyzer are done on a continuing basis. Before each new version is released it undergoes hours of automated testing to insure version to version integrity.

These measures are taken to insure the hidden costs for supporting this product in the field remain extremely low. Typically, once the system is properly implemented, its reliability exceeds 99% as long as the supporting infrastructure remains sound.

5) Ongoing support
On-site training and installation services are available to personally assist users in launching the system.

The system is extremely well documented with detailed step by step user manuals and an extensive knowledgebase on the web.

Incremental updates are periodically released to add features and enhance the product’s user interface. Annual support agreements offer direct contact for assistance along with new versions for the client’s platform cost is 10% of the purchase price domestically and 15% internationally.

The DataLyzer® system is organized by job function
For IT managers DataLyzer® Spectrum offers easy setup, a summary view of system-wide status where problems can be easily identified and drilled to pin point problems at the process level and traceable even to individual material lots, operators or other parameter combinations. A wide variety of professionally developed reports also serve to clarify process status and/or document exceptional performance.

For data entry personnel DataLyzer® Satellite data collection stations offer local charting with real-time, on-screen, feedback to instantly advise if processes are in or out of control, out of spec. along with numerous other alert criteria which are simultaneously reported to the Quality manager. As a result of this instant system feedback operators can immediately contain problems and adjust processes, thereby saving time and money at the source.

Other users like production supervisors, area foremen even executives with an occasional need to review quality status and print reports, can use a third type of client pdimodule called an “Executive Monitor”. This one offers a read-only, system-wide monitoring capability similar to the quality manager’s station. From these stations the entire system can be audited (or just one department) and all reports can be printed . No changes can be made to the system’s data collection assignments from stations using this type of client.
